A: The web site migration service that our company is offering is free of charge (within a certain limit). We will move your site(s) to our state–of–the–art cloud hosting platform without you needing to do anything. We know from experience that swapping hosting providers can result in lost data and undesirable network downtime. That’s the reason why we’ll perform all that for you at no cost!We have highly qualified administrators whose main task is to ensure that your web site works precisely as it did on your previous hosting platform. The administrators are experts in transferring custom–built sites, as well as sites that are based on well–known scripts such as Joomla^™ and WordPress.

A: There are lots of variables to bear in mind – the overall number of web files, the size of the database, the complexity of the site itself and the current workload of our web site migration professionals, etc. That being said, we do our very best to implement all web site migrations in a 48–hour window. Smaller–sized websites are transferred faster – typically within 24 hours.

A: We do not request any private details. We’ll require, though, the login information for your present web hosting account along with the name of the website that you would like to migrate.

A: Before we can start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share the exact same info you have given to your current host. We also have a very strict Privacy Policy, which specifies how personal data is handled.

A: Your site will work just like it did before with your previous web hosting provider. When we have completed the migration, your website will be configured to work on our web hosting platform and we’ll ask you to preview it. If it is functioning correctly, all you will need to do is update the name server resource records associated with your domain. Your site will be transferred to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: While we move your content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We won’t contact them in any way.

A: We can migrate your website from any hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform so long as we can get access to the Control Panel and there’s FTP access available.The only websites that we’re unable to migrate are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
